It all started two years ago when a Sony camera—originally a gift from my grandfather to my mother—found its way into my hands. While the camera was initially meant for her, I was the one who couldn't stop exploring its possibilities. Through trial and error, I taught myself to see the world differently through the lens.

As a 16-year-old of mixed Hong Kong and Filipino heritage, born in Thailand and growing up in Saigon, I have always lived between cultures. Though I have never lived in my ancestral homes, every visit back feels like a search for a connection. My camera has become the bridge—a way to capture the nostalgic neon soul of Hong Kong and the rhythmic energy of Vietnam, finding the threads that link my identity together.
